After the press conference, Freeport residents met with the FERC Office of Public Participation, and former FERC chairman, Richard Glick. The activists called on FERC to enforce stronger emergency response plans at Freeport LNG and for FERC commissioners and staff to visit the Freeport community and host a public townhall about safety and environmental concerns with the Freeport LNG facility.
